What is the standard setter?
The Standard Setter is a monthly workout designed to challenge your discipline, push your limits, and prove to yourself that you’re capable of more than you think.
You have the entire month to complete it ... on your own or with others.
No shortcuts. No excuses. Just the work.
You can do it in the gym, on a track, in your garage. Just get it done.
The Standard Setter isn't about how fit you are ... it's about proving you're willing to do hard things, and build resilience and mental toughness along the way.

Movement Standards
No chalk, no grips, no tape, and no mixed grip. Just your bare hands and a standard pull grip.
Burpees - Chest touches the ground and full extension at the top of each rep.
V Sit-ups- Touch your toes at the top of every rep.
Walking Lunges: Full depth and full extension at the top.

What is the Standard Setter?
It’s a monthly gut-check workout designed to push you, challenge your discipline, and give you one clear opportunity to show up and do something hard.
How do I get this month’s workout?
Just ask any team member in-store or check above on the Standard Setter page where the workout will be posted each month. We’ll make sure you have everything you need.
Do I have to sign up?
No sign-up required. Just commit to doing it and get it done within the month.
Is this for beginners or advanced athletes?
Both. It doesn’t matter your fitness level. it’s meant to be challenging for everyone.
What if I can’t finish it?
Do as much as you can and keep going. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s pushing yourself further than you normally would.
These workouts are designed so anyone can finish, it may take some longer than others. That's okay. Just get it done.
Why doesn’t it follow my normal program?
That’s intentional. The Standard Setter is designed to take you out of your routine and test you in a different way. Resiliance is on the other side.
When do I have to complete it?
Anytime within the month. You choose when.
Where can I do it?
Anywhere ... gym, home, outdoors. It’s designed to be flexible.
Can I do it with friends?
Absolutely. We'd recommend it. Shared hard work builds unbreakable bonds.
How do you know I completed it?
There is an element of the honors system. You'll submit your workout each month here. If you choose to mislead the S² Faction community.
Do I have to post it?
No, but we'd recommend it. Posting helps build the S2 Faction community and helps keep you and others accountable.
Is there a reward for doing all of them?
Yes. Complete all monthly workouts in a year and earn the limited-edition Standard Setter shirt.
Can I buy the shirt instead?
No. It’s earned. Not given, and never for sale.
